Summer Garden Tour
If you find yourself in Vermont this summer, come to my summer garden tour. It’s a small, intimate four square design, on .24 acre of land, that will give you an idea of how to set up a productive and inviting area for growing food with limited space.
I’ll show you around and explain some of the elements of the garden design, things you might have learned from my garden lectures: the benches, the arbors, the compost pile and the honeybees. I’ll prepare a few recipes from my cookbook for you to nibble and if you plan to turn it into a holiday weekend, I can even send you a list of places to stay nearby.
When it comes to garden design, we can always learn something new. If you were lucky enough to grow up with gardening parents, it may come naturally. But most of the very best gardeners I know get their best ideas from other gardeners, including me.
